About Andrea Garone

Andrea Garone is a Jersey Shore native. The proximity of the beach and New York City have had a profound influence on her design aesthetic. Some of her earliest memories are of heading to the beach off-season to chase the waves, collect seashells, and check the surf after a big storm. While she loved the ease and lightness of the shore, her interest in fashion drew her to New York City to attend FIT. Life there afforded abounding opportunities to participate in Fashion Week, mentorship programs, and museum events while exploring the local architecture and history. She started her first career in marketing there only to feel stifled by the corporate environment and then returned to school to attain an Interior Design degree. Designing brought her back to The Shore gaining experience in residential interior design, space-planning, custom window treatments, custom furniture design, new builds, renovations, and kitchen and bath design. She now balances the ease and lightness of beach-living with the functionality and boldness of Manhattan.

Andrea listened to me when I explained the look I wanted. She was confident in the colors she chose. She didn't just pull out color swatches and ask "Do you like this color?" (that I could do on my own) She chose a slightly different color shade for several connecting rooms and ordered samples. The samples came the next day and I put them up in various spots in each room. ALL the colors were perfect!

Andrea was exactly what I was looking for...she sat and listened and looked at some photos that I compiled to give her an idea of the style I was leaning toward... I have a tendency to like ALOT of things but have trouble bringing them all together and making them flow. She took everything I showed her and came back with some incredible options!
